It rarely starts with a new build. It starts on a tennis or badminton court, on a Tuesday evening, with a handful of members. So the software should let a court carry both sports — not make you invent a second club.
One court, several sports
The court is shared, the schedule is not split
In SportFinder a court is not tied to one sport. The same surface can be bookable for tennis and for pickleball, which means adding the sport does not mean duplicating the court, splitting your calendar, or explaining to your members why the club now has two booking pages.
- Each sport keeps its own settings on that court: duration, calendar step, booking window and expected number of players.
- Your schedule stays one schedule — a court booked for pickleball at 7pm is simply busy at 7pm, whatever the sport that booked it.
- What we do not do: manage the line markings. The software shares the court; the paint on the floor is still your problem.
Rates and memberships

- Quotas are per sport: how many bookings a member may hold at once can differ between your tennis and your pickleball, without one eating the other.
- Nothing to renegotiate on the tennis side: adding the sport does not reopen the settings your tennis members already live with.

A new sport has no habits yet
The hard part of adding pickleball is not the court, it is the first six months: nobody has a regular partner yet, and an empty slot stays empty because two people did not know about each other.
An internal level, not a federation one
No pickleball federation is connected to SportFinder. You can keep a level internal to your club, which is enough for the partner search to put comparable players on the same court — and enough to stop a first-timer being matched against your best pair.

Pickleball: what clubs ask us most
Do I have to create new courts to add pickleball?
No. A court carries several sports at once in SportFinder: your tennis or badminton court can also be bookable for pickleball, without duplicating it and without splitting your schedule in two. What it does not do is manage the line markings — that part stays a job for paint and tape.
Can pickleball have its own rates and its own memberships?
Yes, and independently of the sport already on the court. Pickleball can carry its own quotas, its own rates and its own membership plans without touching your tennis settings — or share a combined membership across both, if that is the offer you want to sell.
Is there an official pickleball ranking in SportFinder?
No pickleball federation is connected today, and we will not imply otherwise. You can keep a ranking internal to your club, which is what lets the partner search put players of a similar level together.
Do you handle beginner sessions and coaching?
Not as a teaching system: there is no coach diary and no lesson billing. Since introductory sessions are how most clubs start with pickleball, that is worth saying up front. What is delivered is the booking of a court and of a recurring slot, which is what a weekly beginners’ hour actually needs.
My members play both tennis and pickleball — is that one club or two?
