Your membership formulas, applied to the letter
Every club has invented its own idea of what a membership gives. The software’s job is to apply yours exactly, not to talk you into a simpler one.
“Membership” does not mean the same thing in every club
For one club it is a member rate. For another it is four included bookings a month. For a third it is the right to book on Monday when everyone else waits until Wednesday. All three are memberships, and a system that only understands one of them makes the other two clubs work around it forever.
- A member rate on some courts, some hours, or all of them.
- Included bookings, counted over the period you choose.
- A booking window that opens earlier than for everyone else.
- A quota: how many bookings a member may hold at once, so one enthusiast does not take the week.
- Several of the above at once, because that is what real formulas look like.
Your members book before everybody else
The most valuable thing a busy club can give a member is not a discount, it is a head start. Booking windows open per kind of member, so the people who pay for the year are not beaten to Saturday morning by someone passing through — and they can see that they were not, which is what makes them renew.
Included bookings, without ever undercutting yourself
An included booking that can be taken at 8pm on a Saturday is not a benefit, it is a hole in your best hour. So what a membership grants can be bounded — by hour, by court, by how many at once — and the boundaries are yours to draw. The point of a membership is to fill the hours that need filling, and to be generous exactly there.
A membership card without the plastic
The member holds their card in the app: what they are entitled to, what is left of it, and until when. Your desk stops being the place people come to ask whether their subscription still runs, and you stop reprinting cards every January.
A member is revenue that comes back
A one-off booking is a good evening. A membership is a season paid in advance and a player who has a reason to turn up on a wet Tuesday. What that is worth at your club is a sum we do it with you on the demo, on your own formulas — our prices are already published.

Bring the one your current system cannot express. That is the half hour worth having.
